Horrible service for an elite customer I created a transaction for sending money a duplicate transaction was create and money was debuted twice from my account I sent email and even called but no response I am extremely disappointed and not going to use this service in the future

It's a trap and bunch of lies in their promotion. Initially when i transferred, in the name of KYC the fund transfer didnt go through so i had to cancel. I needed to send fund instantly due to some family emergency and this time thought of calling and go through where person assured it will be done instantly. But I got into the false trap again and money is gone out of my Australia Account but not got credited. They put me on hold and said sorry i have to just wait without any timeframe. Don't even get into the trap and now i am going to raise this in relevant Gov agency and will raise a consumer Protection

So bad reviews from many peoples for the Remit2India. By reading this anyone will not dare to send our hard earned money by this company. @Remit2India why you people not taking action on your process? Don't know why Virat Kohli doing advertisement of such company!! Looks like they are playing with people!! Attraction is giving 1 Rs. extra but not sending money on time is the problem. Stupid thing is that they are asking for Scan Copy of SSN. Even Xoom not asking for this.

Remit2india has to be the crappiest service ever. This place is full of incompetent people. I started a transfer around a week ago which went inti KYC process. I have called them daily in the last 5 days and every time the representatives have assured I will be contacted for verification in 1 hour. This has been happening everyday for last 5 days. I have emailed them multiple times with no response or update on the transfer. Every single representative has a different excuse. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE.

Writing second time this review last review responded stated in the response some one will contact me no one contacted every day i am sending the mail and calling no one is responding. You people having my money $3000 no one is responding its really a cheating with out giving proper information.

I did a transaction and it's pending for KYC and no one contacted me for getting the documents. No reply for the email and I have been waiting in the phone line from 30min and still no answer, called 3 times. A week back I was asked to upload some document even before I send money and it's not accepting the uploads, I sent a mail to that as well but no response. The customer support is the far worst I have ever seen. I will never use this Remit2India again.

I started using this after receiving reference from a relative. Money deducted from Bank but not received money after completing all formalities on 9th August. Zero communication from Remit2India. Even no replies for the email, except auto reply. Status changed from "pending for completion of KYC process" ==> "Transaction under Process" ==> "Account Verified" on 9th. But absolutely no update from them. Please don't reply with that standard message "we understand your disappointment..blah blah... Hopeless service.

Hopeless customer service, I was said to be receiving 50$ Amazon gift card for the 10000$ transfer and 3 months have been passed still no gift card. I have written customer service multiple emails but no proper response. Fake promises and Unprofessional service, I do not recommended their service to anyone.

I have posted the below review 3-4 days ago, to which you have replied somebody would contact me to resolve guys just comment, if you guys don't have the intention to take care of your problem. Also it would be nice if you guys don't use copy-paste comments. They mentioned the debit request was already made to my bank account. Fair enough - they asked me to send an email to info@remit***. ### email ID asking them to stop payment. They told me as soon as they receive my email, they would put transaction on hold, and return the funds to my bank account. I agreed to that, and expecting them to refund the amount that was debited from my bank account. They told me they would receive funds from my bank only 9th August, so they had ample time to cancel the transfer and refund my money. Anyway, I called them up on 7th as well, just to make the same request, and to make sure they don't transfer my amount to the recipient. They asked me to send email again, which I did again. So BASICALLY I CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES, AND EMAILED MULTIPLE TIMES to make they don't transfer the funds to Indian bank account. Guess what? I received an email this morning saying they transferred the funds to Indian bank account, and that they can't refund my amount. I called them up immediately and yelled asking why they did that despite me emailing and calling multiple times Then. I asked for a reasonable solution, you know what they offered me? a mere 5ps extra for next transaction. 5ps extra is like less than $1 for $1000 sent. They think I am a beggar, $1 for $1000 is less than a tip ? Since I had sent emails, I am really thinking if I should pursue legal action. I need to still think about it though. Nee to check if its worth my time. I strongly recommend not use this service. Have a good day.

If something wrong transaction happens, and when you try to stop the transaction it is out of your hands, if transaction happens immediately. because they don't answer the call in hour or so, and don't even call back if call got disconnected.

My money hold for 10 days. Website says 24 hours customer service. After sending email about my transaction, it says 48 hours to reply, but I got response after 120 hours, requested some details, after I replied, it said again will get response in 48 hrs. So if I go like this I could resolve by my transaction problem in 1 month. I tried call back, chat. Both didn't worked for me. So tried finall option "CALL" I called, and I was waiting on call to catch Representative. Call got connected after 25 mins of waiting. That fellow, simply said, I will transfer to another department, then it got again 15 mins more waiting, finally ..... call got disconnected after 40 mins of waiting....... Please credit money into India ASAP. Stop replying by Auto generated message. If you really concern about your customer and your business, please act fast on responding customer Worst service, worst customer service......

You can have delays but if you are making people fool holding the money unnecessarily and specially no justification no reply....are you in medieval times... 48 working hours for response... and no reply even after 52 working hour.... worst worst worst ever... service

I have transferred money on 1st Aug it's not yet deposited on time requested to cancel the transaction and sent couple of mails for cancel transaction not seen responding & status on it and very horrible and terrible customer care no one lift the call after waiting for 30 to 40 mins also.

Hi All, this is my 11th review for Remit2India and probably my last one. This is a company with most TERRIBLE and DUMB customer care. I have given all single stars in my previous 10 reviews as I could not select zero stars. 31 days passed and Remit2India could not activate my bank account till now after 10 attempts. I wasted about 7 hours of my valuable time with this pathetic company. But the good news is that I instead tried "Instarem" and my bank account was activated instantly! Instarem website was pretty good to use and most importantly they have good customer care. I would recommend to try using Instarem website if you haven't already used it.

Customer service is pathetic, they don't respond to calls, long wait time. it's frustating. Their exchange rate is lucrative, except that nothing is positive about this company. I would suggest either Remitly or Xoom for fast and better customer service and competitive rates. Delivery time is also is not as they promised. Very bad. Marketing tricks. Very cheap.

I have transferred money on 1st Aug it's not yet deposited, status is showing transaction is under review, what does that mean? why so much of time and the worst part is nobody is replying on my email from remit team, when I am calling to customer care number nobody picking the phone, I am waiting on the phone since 70 minutes still nobody is picking the phone, what worst service? Taking Virat Kohli as brand ambassador won't improve your service, work on the ground level, I advice don't use service till they improve.

Just to add to my previous comment that I'll formerly lodge a complaint with my state department of commerce for them asking SSN details which are sensitive and confidential and besides they do not have authority to ask such information mandatory. I made this point to their customer team but they are pathetic and do not know anything about it. Their compliance team is not reachable at all.

This company seems to be fraud and they have their own set of rules and regulations which contradict with IRS rules. I had to provide ID proof multiple times which is not the case with any other remittance provider. However most absurd thing that they are asking to upload tax statements which has social security information too. As per IRS SSN details should not be provided to anyone except Govt agencies and if you are acquiring credit. I am using other service providers for years and never seen anyone asking such sensitive and confidential information so they are having their own arbitrarily rules which are not necessarily as per Govt and IRS guidelines. Moreover I called them to make them aware they are doing fraud but instead I was put on hold and transferred to people who do not have any knowledge whatsoever on this topic. I was on call for 1 hour 50 minutes and then finally hung up.

They told me they would receive funds from my bank only 9th August, so they had ample time to cancel the transfer and refund my money. Anyway, I called them up on 7th as well, just to make the same request, and to make sure they don't transfer my amount to the recipient. They asked me to send email again, which I did again. So BASICALLY I CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES, AND EMAILED MULTIPLE TIMES to make they don't transfer the funds to Indian bank account. Guess what? I received an email this morning saying they transferred the funds to Indian bank account, and that they can't refund my amount. I called them up immediately and yelled asking why they did that despite me emailing and calling multiple times Then. I asked for a reasonable solution, you know what they offered me? a mere 5ps extra for next transaction. 5ps extra is like less than $1 for $1000 sent. They think I am a beggar, $1 for $1000 is less than a tip ? Since I had sent emails, I am really thinking if I should pursue legal action. I need to still think about it though. Nee to check if its worth my time. I strongly recommend not use this service. Have a good day.

Hi , Worst Customer Support, i havn`t yet started transfer online yet, but had dropped email for change in profile details , and i have not received any reply from customer service since last 5 Days , had dropped email to : info@remit2india.com however there is no reply; if this is the support provided now prior to transfer, no one will use this portal for transfer money

Hi All, All the reviews which are given 5 rate are fake and manipulated. This is another scam company in India they help for initial couple of transactions and after that they stop responding from everywhere. Even I have twitted Virat Kolhi to stop advertise of remit2Inida and going to sue them. Please be aware from scam

Well the rates are good what they offer,but do not offer transfers without SSN,like how ria and remitly offer so crew members working on a cruise liner can send money as we cannot apply for SSN ,even though we have a us bank account

All - Please ignore Remit2India. They DO NOT know how to Activate a Bank Account. This is a basic thing for all fund transfer companies. It has been 30 days and they could not Activate my bank account. Each time I call customer care they ask me to add my bank account but verification fails. I tried more than 10 times and they could not resolve it. Absolute DUMB customer care. I wasted 7 hours talking to them. Do Not become a victim like me. They are absolute TRASH. Better use other companies.

Hi All - I agree with all the single star reviews. I am sure all of these people would try to select ZERO stars but that option is not available. I am myself writing 9th review here. Remit2India is a big SCAM and FRAUD company - DO NOT attempt to use it. I wasted about 7 hours of my time talking to customer care and sending several emails - you know for what? - just for Activating my Bank Account. 29 days passed till date and they were not able to Activate my bank account till now. Absolute shit Customer Care. Please ignore this company and save your valuable time

Pathetic customer service. Please do not use their service. Instead I recommend using western union or remitly. I have been big customer for these guys. I recently thought about using remit2India Here is what happened with my case: I had initiated a transfer on Aug 5th to a bank account in India. I uploaded all the docs for verification. I knew the process will take a while, since they need to verify my docs. However, the next day I decided to cancel the transfer. So i called them up and requested not to process the transaction. Someone suggested me to use this source to send money from Aus to india... trust me, this is complete SHIT APP... i sent 2500 for medical emergency, but it dint go through. Status is Pending For KYC... I submitted all my valid documents, my rtrn numbr is 2815080001. CLEAR MY MONEY ASAP OR REFUND IT BACK.

"STRICT NO TO REMIT2INDIA" I would have given 0 star. If you list the companies with worst customer support, I am sure these guys will be in first place.To connect it will take 25-30 min,when your speaking with them they will disconnect the call. Mails forget about it you will get reply after 3-4 days. If you send email on friday it may even take a week to get reply.

HI All - I'm in same situation like Raj , this my 3rd post regarding this .NOOOOOOO REMIT2INDIA please I was promised money for remittance after multiple call follow ups and now they reply that US bank has dishonoured the transaction . Where as i clearly see that amount has been debited from my account and it shows MoneyDart has taken the money for remittance . So please be careful . I would request Compare remit also to Black list if possible. I'm approaching attorney for suing for this trauma.

Hi all in the review board firstly I will say all the reviews below me are 100% true remit2india are not geared up for customer service but for making money out of other peoples cash. The same thing below has happened to me and their response is demeaning and unfortunate for all the poor souls who trusted them just like me here is my story in short. I have been transacting with these peeps for quite a few years and they have been excellent and hence have continued with them. I have encountered issues but they have assisted me and kept me happy with their service. However as we know customer service is about how one resolves an issue not how one transacts on a normal day to day, at least that is how I gauge it. Anyone can smile and say hello and thank you but when there is a problem only some can deal with it correctly and efficiently. I did 4 or 5 transactions in the past month and August, I followed it with another one a few days ago. It was tagged as instant transfer however I did not receive it till now. The next day I tried to ring them and could not get through due to 'congestion' as per the message I got. Then I called them some time after and was on hold for over an hour and fell asleep and when I woke up the call was disconnected. They apparently try to ring me and don't get me however I have not received call or a voice mail which states they have called. Yet I keep getting emails stating they tried me and I need to update my contacts so they can speak to me regarding KYC. I replied to these emails stating I have been transacting within the last week and advised them I do not need KYC as it has already been done multiple times in the past and they have not advised I need to upload documents online. But I kept getting the same email from them. On the second day since my transaction as I had not received funds in my destination account I emailed them then called them. I requested a manager who I advised the funds need to be transferred ASAP. Let me tell you at this juncture they have the worst communication channels as it is not clear and the line is really bad. I advised the manager of this who told me she will hang up and ring me back, I refused since I was on hold for 40 minutes almost to get her. She went off to 'check' my transaction and then the call dropped off and I did not get a call back from her. Great customer service. After this in a few hours someone from 'compliance' called me and asked me all sorts of questions. I vented my frustration at her and I apologise for my anger but it is a direct result of the fact that remit2india is a cash grabber and does not have any customer serivce. She proceeded to ask me how long I have been in the country and where I work. I proceeded to tell her I can tell you anything and even if untrue she cannot do anything about it so why ask. I did tell her how long I have been in the country but I refused to answer where I work as none of this has anything to do with my transaction this is private information. She proceeded to tell me she cannot do the transaction and I advised her to refund the cash ASAP and cancel my account with remit2india. I asked her how long this would take and she did not know hence I requested the team that does know she again offered me a call back from customer service and I refused stating I will speak to them now. She refused to do this hence I requested a manager. The so called manager came on and said hello. I asked who this is and he kept saying hello as if he cannot hear me. Basically he refused to acknowledge me and once he did he kept asking me if I was who I was. I asked him if I wasn't then who could I be and he kept ignoring me. I asked him for his manager about which he first said no then told me they are busy. I asked him for a different manager since I did not want to speak to him since he was demeaning me by ignoring me. He kept refusing and telling me he can have a conversation with me. I ended up terminating the call as I did not want to speak to a 'manager' who refused to acknowledge me or my problems, who had an attitude as if they were the victim and who was not empathetic, or helpful and was least bothered remit2india service is the worst. I have no way of providing 0 or negative stars, I will never transact with them again. They have no respect for the common man so please everyone try and avoid them, western union may have more fees but at least you are not anyone's bitch (for lack of a better word.) The positive reviews are written by the remit2india team, you can understand this if you check the time and date of the review why do you do this it is because you are just absolute shit?

Hi Remit2India, I have transferred the AUD to my HDFC account on 2nd August 3:52PM Australian time from Commonwealth bank Australia, still the amount is not deposited to my account, I have written number of e mails to your info@remit2India.com address and return response I got to upload the Address proof, So I have done three times including my Australian Bank account statement uploaded by logging to my profile. Still there is no response, Please can you reply or call me. Else there will be serious action against you guys

Worst customer service I had to waited for 1 hour 14 minutes in the call and still could not speak. They were asking multiple documents for kyc for 2 days, even though i sent, no response. Finally I cancelled my transaction. I will never see this website even if they provide higher rates..worst experience.

amazon 65$ voucher offerred on over 5k transfer in may.but till the date voucher is not received.initally said voucher will be dispatced in june then extended to july.but in july after lot of follwup mails replied back aug 15th. I think it will not work.really dissopointed.

Dear Remit2India, As stated by you i have sent multiple mail with my transaction details and contact details/transaction id to info@remit2india.com . Even sent mail to Deepa Asnani from your company as well no response. Just unnecessarily donot keep replying rest be assured someone will contact first correct calling facility ,no one is responding to any call made your company. I have already raised fraud case against your company with Commissioner of Bank and Consumer financial .GOV. Just wanted to bring it to everyone notice in this forum.

Hi, Never ever trust Remit2India for transferring money from Australia to India. They give the worst service. They promise of instant transfer which never happens and apart from others they even take three to four days to complete the transaction. The MOR amount they promise will never come to your account. They provide the worst service in my opinion. I found orbit remit and remitly much better than this bad guys.
