It was well below £500. Not an alarming amount. You don’t need that much info to transfer to someone’s bank. All you need is the name and IBAN. If my review gets removed I will start the process of referring Trustpilot and Xe to the regulatory bodies. It looks like Xe tries to remove all the negative reviews and keeps the positive ones. A lot of these positive reviews are fake. They emailed me calling me by a lady name! Clearly they forgot to change the name in their batch email they send which wreaks misery to their customers.

Submitted a transfer and xe.### was very prompt in taking the money. Everyday they would detach the recipient details and then email me asking to confirm recipient again. I sent recipient id confirming the information i was submitting. 9 days later they email me asking for 2 years employment history for the recipient and address despite me providing the address everytime they asked to confirm recipient details by email. I then get told that the money i sent would be sold back in the market and i would occur the losses. Clearly this is a scam. They lure you in with rates which they cannot fulfill and then use delaying tactics so then can wait for the Market to move in their favour. I will certainly not be using them again and i would seek other more reliable transfer services.

0-2 HOURS OR 11+ DAYS?? The ad promotion declares that within 0-2 hours the transfer will be completed, I have made several transfers completed so far but all took between 5-11days to receive the funds in India.The best alternative is Wise money transfer it is 0-2 minutes only.

Wtf? Signed in, provided all my info and tried to remit money to Manila Philippines and instantly after I pressed confirm to send, my account was closed. Speaking just for persons sending money to the Philippines, stay away from this company.

If given the chance, I could have reassured XE of the legitimacy. Now it has been four business days and I have still not heard anything and my account is still closed. I tried to call several times after the 48 hours and was on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. So that was four days wasted and getting the money to the recipient. I emailed and no one bothered to respond.

I have sent money via XE money couple of times and have never faced any issues. There are delays for 1-2 days but nothing more than it. As long as I am getting good exchange rates, I am ok with 1 day delay :)

I had started a transfer of a huge amount (within the limits) in USD to be sent to INR. They asked me to upload the ID and other highly sensitive personal information. After uploading, they have closed my account without giving any reason and told me to never contact them again. It's utterly humiliating and frustrating. Now, I am afraid that they may deduct money from my account (exactly same scenario has happened with others) and I will have nowhere to go because my account is closed. Please stay away from XE money transfer. They are a really dangerous company who play with your personal information like SSN and never reply to your email with helpful information. I hope this company goes out of business and saves the trouble for thousands of people like me.

I did transfer (USD to Indian R) on March 09, my bank account was debited on March 10, I get confirmation to recieve my transfer amount on March 14. I did contact them on 14, they said " wait for 24 hour to be reflect in your bank account in India". Again I did contact after 2 days later they said " we are contacting our partner in India and it will take another 24 hours"

The money transfer service is not working. It is impossible to get support from Xe.### (request 210401). You risk losing your money. I have never experienced such poor support. Both companies are the opposite to XE: good customer services from Aussies and other international staff, and modern sites with few bugs. Got an email that they cannot complete the service, deducted my money from account and asked to contact bank to get money back. I am guessing they are earning interest with such scruplous measure. I want to report them to SEC or some financial agency.

Cheaters! Doesn't provide the rate they advertise here, and it is very low. They tell you the rate after you have created an account by providing all your info including the SSN. Owned by the same company who owns Ria Financial Services so I believe in their security as I had been using RIA for a long time until they started charging for transfers.

I used it today after seeing this in compareremit. It is not 0-2 hours. it says transfer will complete it 5 days. so be aware. Giving 2 start because of great $ rate.

Though i placed the transfer request on Aug/21, it shows as the money will be debited from the account on Aug/26, and it will be available for the recipient by Sep/1. So in my experience it is taking almost 10 days for a transfer from USA to India. Not sure if they are using a different time scale, where 2hrs equivalent to our 10 days :)
