Tried Unplex a few times so far and the remittance rate has always been the highest in the industry. If your recipient is able to get themselves KYC’d soon by using digital locker app it’s also at a fairly good speed. Account for a bit of delay if it gets stuck in that but otherwise it’s fairly smooth using WhatsApp and digital locker app. Mohanji one of the founders of the company is always keen and happy to help if you get stuck !! For me it was a great experience ????????

0 Once I completed the initial setup, sending money with this app became super easy and secure. I got the best exchange rates compared to Remitly and Xoom, and the transfer process through WhatsApp was surprisingly seamless. Highly recommend it for quick, reliable international transfers!

0 I had an extremely disappointing experience using the Unplex money transfer app. I initiated a transfer from the USA to India, expecting the usual quick and seamless service, but it’s been nearly a week, and the funds have yet to arrive. The delay is frustrating, especially when I had hoped the process would be completed in a matter of days, as promised by the app. What made the situation worse was the lack of support from their customer service team. I reached out multiple times, but the responses were either slow or unhelpful, with no clear explanation for the delay or any real solution offered. It feels like there is no sense of urgency or care for resolving customer issues, which is unacceptable when dealing with financial transactions. I had high hopes for Unplex, but after this experience, I’m thoroughly disappointed. I would not recommend this app to anyone who needs a reliable money transfer service.

4 I saw lots of good review but my first transaction was not very pleasant , First challenge with this service is there is no timeline given for receiving the transfer while doing the transfer , I was keep following up for 3 days while I have received a misleading message like your transaction is completed , after multiple communications they said its failed , anyway customer support is also bit lengthy process as they will reply only by emails and by 24 hours timeline

3 Overall experience with Unplex is not good. I initially was happy with the ease of initiating transactions and the good conversion rates Unplex provided. However its not the case anymore. I initiated 6 transactions over a period of 3 days. They failed 1 transaction as I was over the daily limit. I wasn't notified about the failure. I had to figure it out after followup. After 4 days, when all the money has been debited from my US account, I received money only for first 2 transactions. Their promise of delivering within 2 days is not true in my case. It looks like they hold money to cover for their good conversion rates and no fees transfers.

I submitted all the requested documentation, and the money was deducted from my account on time. Initially I wasn't sure how the whole sending and receiving money would work over Whatsapp. During the registration process you do provide your ID, link bank account, uses Plaid for secure integration. You provide receiver's bank account details as well. You initiate the transaction using Whatsapp. UnPlex offered best rates, when compared to remitly, ria or xoom etc. Few things that can be improved to reduce anxiety and for even quicker transaction. a) When asking for amount to send, it can suggest max amount that can be sent in a transaction. b) Like other apps, it can indicate the conversion rate upfront.
