We all keep complaining and new customers keep getting trapped. Abound is slow, customer service is typical one sided indian call center. All transaction sent recently are failing. They are bold enough not to refund money and not compensating customers. Failed transactions wasted 2 weeks and impacted customer financial needs. They never updated on failed transaction. Customers like us found out via tracking. Shut down is probable for business like these. do not reply back to me "apologising for this nonsensense

0 I found Abound to be a great app to send money to India. Money was transferred instantly and I got a great exchange rate too. Best part is that they don't have any hidden charges like others charge.

1 Solid product and reliably better rates most of the time. Have used the service many times so far. They delivered the money in the committed timeline every time except once. Also discovered that they also offer cash back on tons of brands including Indian grocery stores and Willow TV which are pretty useful.

1 Never use Abound for sending bigger transaction of $10,000 only use for smaller transaction of $1000 or $2000. For bigger transactions, they keep money in processing for more then 2 weeks and deposit it after 12 business days and there customer service doesn't have phone ..only chat, which isn't 24/7. Not worth it at all. If you want to chat with an agent..you will get scripted apology and nothing more.

0 Similar to the reviews below, they ghosted after taking the money. There is no way to track the transfer. We can do something about it by marking their app as suspicious in the Google and Apple Play Store.

6 Abound money transfer transaction failed on May 8th 2024. Till now funds not returned back to my US account. They have only online customer support, no phone number to reach them to discuss. I trusted this as it is the sister company from The Times of India daily news paper group. It is really horrible customer service. Every time responding like brokerage bank is working to resolve the issue and giving target resolution date as month end. This is happening from May 8th. No phone calls or no solution to get back the fund.

I initiated a transfer of a mere $1000 to my father for family maintenance over 10 days ago, and the transaction is still not complete. The service has been asking for unnecessary documentation and continuously delaying the transfer. It is evident that they are stalling the process, especially considering the rupee rates fell after I initiated the transfer. This delay has caused significant inconvenience, and their request for an invoice for a personal transfer to my father is absurd. Despite providing the required documentation promptly, the transfer is still pending. Aboud has shown a complete lack of professionalism and efficiency. Their handling of this situation is pathetic, and I would strongly advise anyone considering using Aboud to look elsewhere. The way they have managed this transaction is unacceptable, and I will certainly not be using their services again. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Aboud at all costs.
